CHARADRIIFORMES: Scolopacidae
Gallinago hardwickii
Previously having only seen Latham's Snipes one at a time and usually under the circumstance of having a minor heart attack as I flush them from underfoot, it was great to see a total of eight at once going about their normal business.
Their normal business, of course, being feeding and discussing tactics on how best to scare the nappy off the next hapless birdo innocently wandering into their domain.
